Personality: Shy, Sweet, Quiet (until he sings!) Kei is a very kindhearted person, and is surprisingly optimistic despite being paralyzed from the waist down. He deals with a lot of emotional as well as physical pain that he doesn't want others to have to see, so he will put on a smile, even when he feels like crying. Kei can sometimes be found alone in tears, but doesn't mind having a friend to help him through it.

History: Kei's father, a talented but struggling pianist and songwriter, played a much bigger role in raising him than his mother did. His father would constantly struggle to find gigs at local bars and pubs, as well as work a day job at a factory to support him, while his mother struggled with addiction to alcohol and painkillers. Kei found solace in listening to his father play piano and sing, and discovered his own amazing vocal talent at a young age. Kei joined his church chior at the age of 7. After watching a TV show called "PopStar Idol" for the first time, Kei knew he wanted to be a star, and that he would work really hard to become the best. Those dreams got put on hold when Kei was 15 and his baby sister Sophia was born.

With Kei's mother in and out of rehab, and his father working two jobs, Kei was left to care for Sophia almost all the time. His sister would have the privilege of listening to his beautiful voice singing her to sleep every night. Because Kei had done so much to help with Sophia, and had still managed to graduate Hisgh Shool with honors, his father wanted to surprise Kei with a trip to an audition for PopStar Idol for his 18th birthday. His sister gives him her stuffed bunny to hold onto for good luck.

Unfortunately, on the way to the city, Kei, his sister and father are in a terrible car accident. While pulling out of a rest stop durring a bad thunderstorm, they are struck by a large truck carrying piping. His father and sister were killed instantly. Kei had survives, but was impaled through the shoulder, torso and leg by piping. His injuries are nothing short of devastating, and after being in a coma for months, Kei is awakened with the terrible news of what happened, Apart from his Father and sisters' deaths. he lears that his treasured voice is damaged, and he will never walk again.

Kei falls into the care of his supposedly recovered Mother, who has remarried into money. At first, she vows to take care of him and give him all the love that she never did when he was younger, and even enrolls him in a specialized school for his talent. Kei soon realizes her only intentions were to gain access to his prescription painkillers.

-Kei has a tracheotomy that he must have to breathe. he sometimes breathes heavy through it without noticing and it can annoy people.

-He has a lot of terrible scars on his body. One of his legs is turned slightly inward, and the other is deformed from being crushed in the accident.

-Kei has a retainer and once had braces. He has glasses for reading, watching TV and playing piano.

-His greatest dream is to audition for PopStar Idol.

-Both of his ears are pierced.

-He loves crosses.

-He has a pet white dwarf rabbit named Marshmallow.
